Baby Lock sewing machines have been around since 1967 when the managers from Juki saw that it was not only commercial garment makers that would benefit from an overlocker sewing machine.

They developed a smaller lighter machine and presented it to Juki but they thought it was a silly idea so this small team went on to build there own company and this is where Baby Lock was born.
